The makers of Power Star Pawan Kalyan's "Sardar" (Gabbar Singh 2) released the first look of the movie on the internet today, and the image went viral on social media within hours.
Directed by Harish Shankar, "Gabbar Singh" is one of the biggest hits of Tollywood. Ever since its release, there has been great demand for a sequel and Pawan Kalyan finally responded to his fans' plea and announced "Gabbar Singh 2" in early 2014. But the project was kept on hold due to the Power Star's other commitments.
The sequel to "Gabbar Singh", which has been titled "Sardar", went on floors at Malshej Ghats in Maharashtra on 29 May, 2015. Pawan Kalyan joined the film unit at the Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad on 29 July. The actor is currently shooting some important scenes including an action sequence in the suburbs of the city.
Considering fans have been eagerly waiting to see the first look of the movie "Sardar" makers released a teaser picture to make them happy. The audience, who are impressed with the poster, are now busy sharing it on social-networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and WhatsApp.
The first look of "Sardar" features Pawan Kalyan and offers a glimpse of his character. He apparently palys a negative role in the film. The poster also shows a police officer with a horse but the officer's face is not visible. However, one can easily make out from the red cotton gamcha (scarf) that the cop is none other than Pawan. The makers have intended to create curiosity by hiding his face.
"Sardar" is touted to be a power-packed action drama, which is directed by "Power" fame Bobby aka KS Ravindra and produced by his close friend Sarath Marrar under his banner Northstar Entertainment. Anisha Ambrose is playing the female lead in the film, which will have Devi Sri Prasad's music and Jayanan Vincent's camera work.
