Power star Pawan Kalyan's recent release "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" (SGS) is all set to be premiered on TV on July 17. It is expected to beat the TRP ratings of "Srimanthudu" and "Babuabali."

RJV Aluri, an Assistant Manager at MAA TV recently hinted that "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" would have its TV premiere soon. He posted a still of the movie on his Twitter handle and wrote: "Quality check done ... Coming very soo on MAA!!!"
The bosses of MAA TV confirmed the date of the TV premiere "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" on the official Twitter handle of the channel. They tweeted on Tuesday: "Pawan Kalyan's #SardaarGabbarSingh Television Premiere ... This Sunday (17th July) on @MAATV."
Star India has acquired the satellite rights of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" for a whopping price of Rs 13 crore, according to a report. The Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Aggarwal starrer has beaten the record of Mahesh Babu's "Srimanthudu," which reportedly fetched Rs. 12 crore from the sale of its Television rights.
"Baahubali" and "Srimanthudu" have received 21.84 (MAA) and 21.24 (Zee Telugu) TRP rating points and they have landed in the second and third places, respectively, while "Magadheera" topped the list of the top 10 Telugu movies with all time highest TRP ratings. Now, "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" is expected to dethrone both the movies.
"Sardaar Gabbar Singh" is an action comedy film, which has been written by Pawan Kalyan and directed by KS Ravindra. Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Aggarwal have played the lead roles, while Sharad Kelkar, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Rao Ramesh, Ali, Mukesh Rishi, Pradeep Rawat and Kabir Duhan Singh appeared in the supporting cast.
"Sardaar Gabbar Singh" is a sequel to the blockbuster movie "Gabbar Singh" and the huge success of its prequel had created lot of hype and curiosity about the movie, which had massive amount of promotions. The film was released in theatres on April 8 and turned out to be a disaster at the box office. Now, it should be seen how the flick would perform on small screen.
