After "Mary Kom," ace Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan has collaborated with director Omung Kumar again for his second movie "Sarbjit". The singer recently revealed on social media she has sung a song in the film starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
"Happy Birthday @Vanita_ok ! lots of love to you! It was amazing to sing for #Sarbjit after #MaryKom..telling you that the song is a KILLER!! (sic)" Sunidhi tweeted. "And I know Aishwarya is going to Rock!! I can't wait to see her #Sarbjit (sic)".
Even the director took to his Twitter handle to thank the singer for lending her voice for the film. "Hey Sunidhi thank u for the fabulous song, yes the song rocks, (sic)" he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya is set to capture hearts this year with two big releases — "Sarbjit" and Karan Johar directorial "Ae Dil Hain Mushkil".
In "Sarbjit", the former Miss World will play the role of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur. Sarabjit died in a Pakistan jail in May 2013. The character of Sarabjit will be played by Randeep Hooda.
"Mary Kom" actor Darshan Kumaar will also play an important role in this flick. He has been roped in for the character of Khalid Pervaiz, a Pakistani lawyer who fights Sarabjit's case.
The biopic, which also stars Richa Chaddha, is being produced by Sandeep Singh, Zeeshan Quadri and Omung Kumar. The film will hit the theatres on 19 May this year, and is expected to be released at the Cannes Film Festival 2016.
Aishwarya's other film, Dharma Productions' "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", also features Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan in pivotal roles. Buzz is apart from Ranbir and Anushka's romance, the audience will see Ranbir and Aishwarya's chemistry as well. Releasing on 28 October this year, it is believed to be a love story about a man falling for a woman older than him.
