Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda were recently spotted partying with the team of their latest film "Sarbjit." They celebrated the success of the film, which has not impressed the audience as much as they had expected, and has performed average at the box office.
Despite the film being an average performer, Aishwarya, Randeep, Darshan Kumaar and director Omung Kumar attended the success party of "Sarbjit." Randeep looked dashing in his outfit, while Aishwarya donned a dull gold Sabyasachi suit at the bash.
"Sarbjit" was about a sister's struggle to secure the release of her innocent brother from a Pakistani prison. It was based on the story of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian jailed in Pakistan after being convicted of terrorism and spying in the country. Randeep played the character of Sarabjit, while Aishwarya appeared in the role of Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur.
The movie also featured Richa Chadha, who played Sarabjit's wife, and "Mary Kom" actor Darshan Kumaar as a Pakistani lawyer. There were reports that a significant portion of Richa's role had been chopped off from the film. In fact, fans were disappointed to see the "Gangs of Wasseypur" actress' reduced screen time in the film. However, Omung later denied reducing Richa's role in "Sarbjit."
Although the rest of the team of "Sarbjit" was present at the success party, Richa gave it a miss. Vijender Singh, Jackky Bhagnani and Bhushan Kumar were among the celebrities who joined Aishwarya and others at the bash. Unlike other films' success parties, no other B-Town stars were present at this bash, not even Aishwarya's family members.
