Stylish star Allu Arjun's "Sarainodu" (Sarrainodu) has continued its rocking run at the worldwide box office in its fourth week. The Allu Arjun-starrer has shattered the lifetime collection records of "Srimanthudu" and "Baahubali: The Beginning" in some regions in 25 days.
In its fourth week, "Sarainodu" clashed with new release "Pencil," which is the dubbed version of the Tamil movie of the same name, but the film fared well in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and some other parts of the globe. The movie is estimated to have grossed Rs. 4 crore at the worldwide box office in its fourh weekend, taking its 25-day global total to Rs. 108.75 crore.
In its fourth weekend, "Sarainodu" is estimated to have added to Rs. 3 crore to its total distributors share — Rs. 68.36 crore. The movie has not only become the highest grosser for Allu Arjun, but also emerged as the fourth-highest-grossing Telugu movie of all time. It has beaten the records of "Gabbar Singh," "Sardar Gabbar Singh" and "Nannaku Prematho."
"Sarainodu" has shattered the lifetime collection records of "Srimanthudu" in Vizag and Krishna, and become the second-highest-grossing Telugu movie of all time after "Baahubali: The Beginning."
"Sarainodu" has earned Rs 27.85 crore in Andhra Pradesh and become the third-highest-grossing film of all time there, beating the record of "Magadheera" (Rs. 25.41 crore). The movie is likely to beat the lifetime record of "Srimanthudu" (Rs. 28.85 crore).
The Boyapati Srinu-directed action drama has beaten the records of "Magadheera" to become the third-highest-grossing film of all time in Guntur, Godavari East and West, international markets, and other parts of India (except Karnataka).
