Here's some good news for fans of the comedy show "Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai." The show, which was one of the most loved comedy shows on Indian television, may return to the small screen. Recently, the entire cast of the show had a reunion, a picture of which was shared on social media by producer-actor JD Majethia. The photo featured the show's lead actors Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly and Rajesh Kumar posing with Majethia and actor Naseeruddin Shah.
The way the producer captioned the picture hinted that Season 2 of the popular sitcom might be returning on TV. The caption read: "Sarabhai family at satish ji 's place.... Some good news for fans on its way," he posted.
"Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai" mostly revolved around the hilarious conflicts between the high class mother-in-law Maya Indravardhan (Ratna) and her middle class daughter-in-law Monisha (Rupali). It has been over 10 years since the show went off air, and the entire cast of the show had reunited last year to celebrate the occasion.
Besides "Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai," some other comedy shows, which one can binge-watch all over again on the Internet are: "Khichdi," "Tu Tu Main Main," "Dekh Bhai Dekh," "Shrimaan Shrimati" and "Flop Show."
"Khichdi" revolved around a Gujarati family called the Parekhs, who live in an old mansion. The family consisted of people who solved several problems together, but in their own inimitable style.
"Office Office" starred Bollywood actor Pankaj Kapoor in the role of Musaddilal, who often landed in trouble and was ill-treated by corrupt officials. The satire was based on the corruption and bribery seen in public offices.
