As the year comes to an end, millions of people across the nation are excited over the long New Year weekend that awaits them.
While most have already planned to welcome the New Year with friends and family at events, parties and more, several others might have planned to just relax and enjoy the holidays within the comfort of their homes.
If you are one of those who would like to spend the holidays at home, here are some classic TV comedy series you can binge-watch all over again in the Internet.
Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai: Easily one of the most loved comedy shows, "Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai" mostly revolved around the hilarious conflicts between high class mother-in-law Maya Indravardhan (Ratna Pathak) and her middle class daughter-in-law Monisha (Rupali Ganguly). Recently, the entire cast of the show reunited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the show.
Dekh Bhai Dekh: One of the popular sitcoms in the history of Indian television, "Dekh Bhai Dekh", starring Shekhar Suman, Navin Nischol, Farida Jalal, Bhavana Balsavar, Deven Bhojani, Sushma Seth, Vishal Singh and Nattasha Singh, revolved around three generations of the Diwan family and the troubles they came across.
Shrimaan Shrimati: Starring talented actors like Jatin Kanakia, Rakesh Bedi, Reema Lagoo and Archana Puran Singh, "Shrimaan Shrimati" became quite popular because of the storylines and excellent comic timings of the actors.
Flop show: Yet another old television sitcom, "Flop Show" was written and directed by satirical humourist Jaspal Bhatti, who also played himself as the main character. Although the show had only a few episodes, it left a lasting mark in the hearts of viewers.

Hum Paanch: "Hum Paanch" was the story of middle-class man Anand Mathur, who always found himself in trouble because of his five daughters with unique characteristics. The chemistry of the family was one of the reasons audiences loved the show.
Office Office: The series starred Bollywood actor Pankaj Kapoor in the role of Musaddilal, who often landed in trouble and was ill-treated by the corrupt officials. The satire was based on the corruption and bribery seen in public offices.
Tu Tu Main Main: One of the longest-running comedy shows, "Tu Tu Main Main" starred Reema Lagoo, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Sachin Pilgaonkar.
Family No 1: "Family No 1" revolved around six children — three each from two families — as circumstances forced the two different families to live under the same roof. Both families tried to outdo each other while still staying under the same roof.
Hip Hip Hurray: The cult TV show was based on the lives of 12 students who dealt with relationships, exam stress, friendship, drug abuse and more. Recently, there was news that the makers are planning to launch a new season of the show with new faces.
