Former Miss Diva and actress Urvashi Rautela will share screen space with Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan, all thanks to Priyanka Chopra and Sunny Leone. Priyanka and Sunny's packed scheduled has helped Urvashi bag an item song in Hrithik's upcoming film Kaabil.
Reports suggest that Hrithik and director Sanjay Gupta want to remake the Sara Zamana song from Amitabh Bachchan and Neetu Kapoor-starrer Yaarana in the film Kaabil and for that, they had approached PeeCee and Sunny. However, they had to deny the offer because of their prior commitments abroad.
"Hrithik had approached the two but they are both currently shooting for their respective work abroad and had to turn down the offer. Hrithik was highly impressed with Urvashi's act in her latest video Gall Ban Gayi and decided to rope her for the song remake," a source told Deccan Chronicle.
When Urvashi's spokesperson was asked about the special song offer, he said yes, but refused to reveal any further detail. "Yes, Hrithik and Sanjay Gupta have approached her for the song and things are in the pipeline," her spokesperson said.
If everything works out then the deal will give a big boost to Urvashi's career. Urvashi, who represented India at the Miss Universe 2015 platform, has worked in around seven films, but none became a big hit.
Talking about Kaabil, fans can expect a trailer of the film any time now. The film is a romantic drama starring Hrithik and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. Hrithik plays the role of a blind man in the film, while Yami is his love interest in the film. Directed by Sanjay, the film also features Ronit Roy and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. Kaabil, produced by Rakesh Roshan, is slated to release on January 26, 2017, and will clash with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Raees in theatres worldwide.
