Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's beautiful daughter Sara Ali Khan has made her Instagram debut on Independence Day 2018. Sara Ali Khan, who will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh in Simmba in her first Bollywood film, did not have an Instagram account or any social media page that was open to public. It is her private instagram account that Sara Ali Khan has now made public.
Now that her debut film Simmba has begun its promotions with its first behind-the-scenes teaser released today, Aug 15, Sara Ali Khan chose to open up her heart and her Instagram account. She was welcomed by filmmaker Karan Johar on Instagram with the words, "Welcome the gorgeous and stunning @saraalikhan95 on Instagram!!!!" And what is her first post?
Sara Ali Khan's first photo on Instagram is an image of poet Rabindranath Tagore with the national anthem of India inscribed on it. Nobel Laureate Tagore is the writer of Jana Gana Mana, originally known as Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata in Bengali. Sara wrote on her Instagram, "Happy Independence Day #merabharatmahan#proudtobeindian #jaihind".
Saif Ali Khan and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan are not on Instagram or any social media, but their son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi is a rage on Instagram with his cute pictures all over. Sara's brother Ibrahim is also liked on social for his pictures.
Fans of Sara Ali Khan (yes, star kids already have fans these days) will now be able to interact with her directly through her Instagram and see what she is up to on a daily basis. Sara's friends-cum-rivals Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor are hugely popular on Instagram.
Sara Ali Khan was supposed to enter the film industry with Abhishek Kapoor's film Kedarnath, for which she began shooting for in 2017. But the film was postponed due to a tussle between the producer and director, and so it is Simmba that will mark Sara Ali Khan's Bollywood debut.
Simmba stars Ranveer Singh opposite Sara Ali Khan while in Kedarnath she is seen with Sushant Singh Rajput as the male lead.
