Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one of the few directors who like to repeat their leading actress in their films. In his career, Bhansali has directed eight films and worked with only five Bollywood divas, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and Deepika Padukone.
The director has previously worked with Aishwarya Rai in "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", Devdas" and "Guzaarish", while with Rani he has worked in "Black" and "Saawariya". His last two directorial films -- "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela" and "Bajirao Mastani" -- featured Deepika and Priyanka Chopra.
And now the director wants to work with his two favourite actresses -- Aishwarya and Rani -- again. While talking to a daily, Bhansali said that he wants to work with Aishwarya and Rani as they are very special, but he is also worried that he might not be able to create the same magic onscreen with the leading ladies which he did years ago.
"I feel that I should work with them but I also feel that some magic has to remain — what it was — you can't recreate that. Rani and Aishwarya are very special. A lot of people feel I am rude, arrogant, disinterested, but I love all the people I have worked with, be it Rani who loves me, and Aishwarya who I never need to say a word to and she's there for me, with Salman I had that, but Salman is still upset about a few things — I don't know what — but those moments are special. Now Ranveer has come into that space for me," DNA quoted Bhansali as saying.
Whether Bhansali will create the same magic on screen or not, it will be interesting to see the director coming up with good movies featuring Rani and Aishwarya.
