Bollywood's ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was on cloud nine, Monday, after he won his first National Award for directing "Bajirao Mastani." And to celebrate his first win, the "Bajirao Mastani" director threw a big bash inviting the who's who of Bollywood.
On Monday, a national panel committee appointed by the government announced the winners of the 63rd National Film Awards. Sanjay's magnum opus "Bajirao Mastani" bagged four awards, including the Best Director and this called for a big celebration. The director celebrated his first National Award win in a big way with "Devdas" actors Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and "Bajirao Mastani" actor Ranveer Singh among others.

Sanjay's "Bajirao Mastani" leading ladies Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were not present at the party, but other Bollywood stars, including Bhumi Pednekar, Suniel Shetty with daughter Athiya Shetty, music composer Anu Malik, Aishwarya, Ranveer, Jacqueline Fernandez, Goldie Behl, Prasoon Joshi, Sonam Kapoor, Sooraj Pancholi, Simi Garewal and Rekha graced the event to congratulate the director.
"This is the proudest moment is seriously for all of us right now, because this (Sanjay) is the biggest inspiration to Indian cinema and everyone who watches Indian cinema. Today we all are here with Bhansali sir because he has inspired all of us at some point in our lives," Jacqueline told reporters after the party.
"Bajirao Mastani," starring Ranveer, Deepika and Priyanka, was released worldwide Dec. 18. The film received positive reviews and also became a huge success at the box office. "Bajirao Mastani" also swept trophies at almost all the award shows this year.
