Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor have never shared the best of rapports, the latter's breakup with Katrina Kaif and the decision to take up the Sanjay Dutt biopic is only going to sour it even further. Apparently, the "Sultan" star isn't too pleased with Sanjay being okay with RK starring in the film.
A SpotboyE source revealed that the Kapoor lad was signed for the biopic, but the team never got to down to shooting for it. "There's a difference between 'finalised' and 'getting ready to shoot,' and the biopic's script got completed only recently. They might sort this out sooner or later, but at the moment Salman is definitely not pleased with RK playing Dutt in the Dutt biopic," the insider further elaborated.
The web portal also speculates if this could be a reason why the superstar didn't make any effort to meet Sanjay at the wedding reception of Kishor Bajaj's daughter. The 50-year-old star wished the newly-weds and left the venue before Sanjay entered with wife Manyata Dutt.
In other news, RK is thrilled to be part of the project. He once said he was ready to go for some drastic physical transformation for the film. He strongly believes it is an actor's responsibility to play the characters as honestly as possible.
"I still don't know how much I will have to pile on. When me and Raju sir sit down for discussion, maybe we will talk about it and I would know exactly how much weight I have to gain," the DNA quoted him as saying.
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has apparently been trying her best to bag a role in the mentioned project by sending over sweets and chocolates to director Rajkumar Hirani's residence.
