The trailer of Kannada movie "Ugramm", which was recently released on YouTube, has not only got positive responses from film goers, but has also impressed a section of the film fraternity. After watching the 2.5-minute video, several Sandalwood stars took to their Twitter pages to laud the work of the film unit.
The first person to rave about the "Ugramm" video was actor Kichcha Sudeep. "Saw th promo of ugramm, very well made..Director looks promising..Wshs to th team,,n special cheers to both Murali n Tilak who look stunning," he wrote on his official twitter page.
A host of other Kannada celebrities followed Sudeep. Referring to "Ugramm" trailer, director Pawan Kumar, who has mesmerised the world with his recent release "Lucia", wrote: "Thank god I released Lucia n got done with it. Look at the films coming in the next few weeks...this trailer looks so good."
Besides posting the YouTube link for the "Ugramm" trailer, actor Naveena Krishna wrote: "Sooper trailor all the best to srii murali n team. @SRIMURALIII trailor super muraliavre."
"Simple Aagi Ondu Love Story" actor Rakshith Shetty, who is now working on the film "Ulidavaru Kandante", tweeted: "After watching #Ugramm trailer it is very clear that time is changing. The Future Is Bright #KannadaMovies :-)" He added, "Amazing trailer... Awesomeness."
"#Ugramm trailer really looks very nice! Kudos to the team," actress Shweta Pandit added.
The film is produced by by Inkfinite Pictures and directed by debutante Prashanth Neel. Sri Murali and Haripriya are playing the lead roles in the film, while Tilak Shekar, Avinash, Jai Jagadish, Padmaja Rao and Atul Kulkarni appear as supporting cast.
The video of "Ugramm" shows that the film's background score and punch dialogues will be the main attractions. The film is expected to hit the marquee on 27May 2014.
