The upcoming biopic on Sanjay Dutt was supposed to include the actor and Madhuri Dixit's rumoured relationship. However, Madhuri has reportedly asked Sanjay not to mention anything about her in the movie.
Sanjay and Madhuri were rumoured to be in a relationship once upon a time, and director Rajkumar Hirani was reportedly keen to show it in the biopic. Madhuri does not want any mention of herself in the film, and reportedly called Sanjay to convey this.
"It has been a long time since Madhuri and Sanjay broke up, and she obviously doesn't want to revisit those times. So, she called him up to check that the bit about their relationship does not feature in the project. Sanjay assured her that the makers have already removed that portion," Mid-Day quoted a source as saying.
The report also said the two stars were rumoured to be in a steady relationship but had broken up after Sanjay was jailed over illegal possession of arms. Sanjay and Madhuri had featured in a number of hit movies, including "Khalnayak" and "Saajan."
The biopic on Sanjay Dutt's life is one of the most ambitious projects of Rajkumar Hirani, and Ranbir Kapoor has been finalised to play his character. However, there is no confirmation on the rest of the cast. There were rumours that Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is Ranbir's cousin, was approached to play the role of Sanjay's sister Priya Dutt in the movie. Kangana Ranaut was also rumoured to be a part of the project, but the actress has denied the buzz.
