After months of speculations, Samsung has finally taken the wraps off the new tablet Galaxy View.
The new Galaxy View boasts a mammoth 18.4-inch full HD display. Samsung says the slate is specially targeted to consumers who crave for a mobile entertainment device that can ensure rich viewing experience. The device also comes equipped with stereo speakers and a long lasting 5700 mAh battery, which can play high quality videos for close to 8 hours.
"At Samsung, we are committed to creating new possibilities and bringing our consumers the best mobile experience," said JK Shin, CEO and Head of Samsung's IT & Mobile Business.
"We are very excited to introduce the new Galaxy View, providing an entirely new way of consuming mobile video and entertainment," he added.
It comes packed with 1.6GHz Octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, and since the tablet is big, Samsung has ditched high-resolution at the rear, instead it will have 2.1MP camera at the front, enough to support good quality video chat.
As of now, there is no official word on Galaxy View's price and release details. Stay tuned for more updates.
