Samsung Unveiled its Galaxy Note 510 tablet in India on Friday at the Samsung Forum 2013 event in Hyderabad.
The device, which is designed to take on its arch rival Apple's iPad mini, boasts of 8-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and189 pixel density, and is powered by quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.6GHz. The tablet runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box.
In terms of memory, the all new tablet packs 2GB of RAM and comes in two 16GB internal storage as well as 32GB internal storage. The tablet supports microSD cards which is expandable up to 64GB. On the connectivity front, the Samsung Galaxy Note 510 Tablet supports 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0.

The tablet houses 4600mAh battery and weighs 338 grams. The Samsung's new Android tablet carries forward a number of features of the company's the Galaxy Note. The most notable feature among this is the tablet's compatibility with the S Pen stylus. The tablet comes with apps such as S Planner, Page Notes, Pop -Up Video and Dual View.
Samsung showed off the tablet first at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona under the name Galaxy Note 8.0 N5100. The Company has not revealed anything about the pricing and availability of the tablet. However, various report suggested that the tablet will reach the market in the next few months.
