World's smartphone leader Samsung on Monday unveiled a sleek tablet PC called Galaxy Tab 3. The tablet sports a 7.0-inch WSGVA TFT screen with 1024x600p display resolution and pixel density close to 169 ppi.
Galaxy Tab 3 runs on Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS powered by dual-core processor with 1.2GHz CPU speed. It houses 1GB RAM, 8GB/16GB storage capacity with options of expanding up to 64GB via microSD card. It features two cameras - a 3.0-megapixel on the rear side and 1.3-megapixel secondary camera on the front.
Samsung has confirmed that the new Galaxy Tab 3 (Wi-Fi only) model will be globally available in May, while the 3G model will be released in June. The company also mentioned that the availabity of the new tablet will vary depending on the market.
