South Korean tech giant Samsung is reportedly planning to release the refreshed version of its much popular Galaxy S3 with a bigger battery and wireless charging, according to Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin.
The news of Samsung's Refreshed Galaxy S3 surfaces online at a time when the company is just a few hours away from the release of Galaxy S3 successor. According to a tweet by Murtazin, the refreshed version of Galaxy S3 will pack a bigger 2,400mAH battery and will support wireless charging. The current running model of Galaxy S3 is powered by 2,100mAH battery.
It was also said that the smartphone could also come with a better display, but there was no mention about the details of the display or any other specifications. It is not clear when Samsung will release the refreshed Galaxy S3.
Galaxy S3 has set new records since its launch in May 2012. Shortly after the smartphone's debut, Samsung launched an aggressive advertisement campaign for the device to make its one of the best phones from Samsung in 2012. As part of its marketing strategy, the company also announced the availability of Galaxy S3 in new color versions like Spiral Black, Garnet Red and Embassy Brown.
Meanwhile, Samsung will unveil its next Galaxy S on 14th March. The phone is expected to come with 4.99-inch display with a pixel resolution of 1080x1920. According to the rumours, Galaxy S4 will pack 1.8GHz Exynos 5410 processor and 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage.
