It's been close to three months since Samsung launched its fourth iteration Galaxy S handset in March. Now, the world's smartphone leader is set to unveil the mini variant of Galaxy S4 next month.
The Wall Street Journal, citing a source familiar with Samsung plans, revealed that the 'Galaxy S4 Mini' is expected to be among several other devices that will be unveiled at a London event hosted by Samsung on 20 June.
The speculations seem legit as they come close on the heels of reports about Galaxy S4 Mini featuring a product number, as seen on Samsung's official UK mobile app store. Soon after the reports spread wildly across the internet, the company immediately took down the photos.
Earlier in April, there were rumours that the Galaxy S4 Mini launch might get postponed to mid-July in a bid to prevent the sales of its bigger sibling from being jeopardised. Incidentally a week ago, Samsung said it registered staggering record of 10 million Galaxy S4 units within a month of its release.
With strong sales established globally with the sale of almost four Galaxy S4 smartphone every second, Samsung is expected to launch the mini variant next month.
According to various reports, Galaxy S4 Mini is expected to sport a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with qHD 540x960p display resolution and is speculated to come with in single-SIM quad-core processor and dual-SIM variants, the former having a quad-core processor and other with a dual-core CPU.
