Samsung is giving a boost to its PC and laptop segment with new and cutting edge designs and technology. Samsung unveiled its latest all-in-one PC on Tuesday featuring a 27-inch Full HD curved display.
The arched design in the ATIV One 7 PC is borrowed from Samsung's successful curved 4K TVs, monitors and smartphones. Samsung will demonstrate the ATIV One 7 at the upcoming CES 2015 event next month.
Design
The artistic curved design not only gives clear view from wide angles, but also makes the screen look bigger than 27 inches. Suitable for both gaming and entertainment, the Samsung ATIV One 7 is built using a TN panel instead of IPS technology. The PC sports a stylish and premium look with sleek design, metallic frame and a complimentary stand.
Features and Specifications
Samsung products are usually packed with features and high-end specs and the same goes for the new all-in-one curved PC. The ATIV One 7 is powered by Intel's Core i5 processor and boasts 8GB RAM and 1TB hard drive. It also sports two built-in 10W speakers with Dolby Sound Effects.
Owners of Samsung smartphones can take advantage of ATIV One 7's SideSync software to make and receive phone calls and text messages right from the PC. Users can also mirror the smartphone screen on the computer and control it seamlessly.
Non-Samsung smartphone owners can also stay connected with the new all-in-one to play music anytime, even when the PC is off.
Additionally, the machine runs Windows 8.1 OS and features 4 USB ports, HDMI in/out ports and an SD card reader.
