Samsung has released over a dozen devices, including the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 7, in the last three quarters. The South Korean electronics giant is not stopping here, as it is expected to release a handful of smartphones like the Galaxy A5 (2017), Galaxy A7 (2017), Galaxy C5 Pro, Galaxy C7 Pro, Galaxy C9 and others in Q4 2016.
The company released several mid-range and budget devices like the Galaxy J1 (2016), Galaxy J3 (2016), Galaxy J5 (2016), Galaxy J7 (2016), Galaxy A8 (2016), Galaxy A9 (2016), Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), Galaxy C5, Galaxy C7, Galaxy J2 (2016), Galaxy On7 (2016), Galaxy On8, Samsung Z2 and Galaxy J Max in the last nine months.
Going by the reports, Samsung is very likely to release a few devices before the end of the year. The handsets that are expected to see the light of day in the next three months are the Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017), Galaxy A7 (2017), Galaxy A4, Galaxy Grand Prime (2016), Galaxy C5 Pro, Galaxy C7, and Galaxy C9.
Samsung's 2017 models from A-series like Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 could be released in December like its predecessors, while it is not known when the Galaxy A4 will arrive.
The Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) could be released in the next few weeks as it has already passed the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approval in the United States. The device with model number SM-G532 has been spotted on Indian imports and exports tracking site Zauba with a 5-inch display and a price tag of Rs. 13,686 (price may defer at the time of launch).
It is also reported that Samsung is releasing three handsets – the Galaxy C5 Pro, Galaxy C7 Pro, and Galaxy C9 -- from its C-series. The Galaxy C5 Pro is said to bear model number SM-C5010, and the Galaxy C7 Pro has model number SM-C7010.
