Samsung Galaxy S4 made its India debut only a month ago with a price-tag of ₹41,500. Now, the company has officially slashed the price to ₹40,300, bringing joy to middle-class Indian consumers.
Samsung has also introduced the 12 month EMI scheme for Galaxy S4 at its official e-store. Buyers can purchase the smartphone with ₹3,358 monthly down payments and zero percent interest rate.
Just a week ago, Samsung reported that Galaxy S4 sales reached a record breaking 10 million milestone within the first month of its release. In mathematical parlance, Samsung sold almost four Galaxy 4 smartphone every second.
Galaxy S4's less expensive sibling Galaxy Grand Quattro A.K.A Galaxy Win which had made its india debut last month also received the price-cut. It's now been reduced to ₹16,900 from ₹18,260.
Official price-cuts seems late as the online as well as brick and mortar retail stores had already been offering Galaxy S4 at lower prices in the past few weeks.
In an attempt to woo thrift buyers, Samsung has also launched creative TV ad campaign 'Own Now' with multiple EMI schemes ranging from three months to 12 months down payment with zero interest rate and zero processing charge.
