Technology giant Samsung has officially confirmed the specifications and features of Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), which was earlier unveiled in September.
Galaxy Note 10.1 is much lighter, thinner and carries a sleek profile just like Samsung's flagship Note 3 which was also released recently. The device features a textured back cover and delicate stitching that delivers a premium look and feel, reported Sam Mobile.
The tablet features a 10.2-inch display with a screen resolution of 2560X1600 pixel and is speculated pack a quad-core Exynos 5240 processor with 3GB RAM, according to the company's official website. Its massive 8,220 mAh Li-Po battery gives astounding battery backup.
The tablet runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and also includes microSD card support up to 64GB apart from the internal storage capacity which comes in 16/32/64GB variants. It also feature an 8-megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash and a front facing camera of 2 megapixels.
Since Galaxy Note 10.1 falls in the Note line-up, it will come along with S-Pen functionailty and some software perks. It also packs features like Air Command, Action Memo, Scrapbooker, Screen Write, S Finder and Pen Window. There will some pre-installed messaging applications on the device such as ChatON, Google+ and Hangout.
Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is now available in the US. The tablet is a WiFi only version and is currently listed on Amazon's wesbite. The 32GB variant sells for $599.99, whereas the price of the 16GB model is yet to be announced.
This new tablet will be pitted against Apple's upcoming iPad 5.
