It's been close to two weeks since Samsung unveiled the metal-clad mid-range phone Galaxy A9 and now, the device has finally made its way to the stores in China.
Galaxy A9 boasts metal-glass design language similar to the company's flagship Galaxy S6 series and features a mammoth 6.0-inch full HD AMOLED display with 1920x1080p resolution. It's the biggest Galaxy A series phone in Samsung's portfolio to date.
Under-the-hood, it comes packed with fingerprint sensor Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 Octa-core SoC (System-on-Chip), 3GB RAM, 32GB in-built storage and a massive 4000 mAh battery.
Galaxy A9 houses 13MP camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), LED flash, F/1.9 aperture and a 8MP snapper on the front.
The company has revealed that Galaxy A9 will cost ¥3199 (around $490/€453/Rs. 32,600) and it comes in gold, pink and white colour options. It is expected to be released in other markets, including India, soon.
In November 2015, Samsung unveiled 2016 series Galaxy A7, A5 and A3. They also share metal-clad frame-based design language, but differ in screen sizes and internal hardware.
