Samsung Electronics CEO Shin Jong-Kyun had recently hinted that the company would soon unveil a new Galaxy camera. Now, with just a week before the grand Samsung event to kick-off on 20 June, photos of mirror-less based camera dubbed as 'Galaxy NX' has been leaked by the Vietnamese technology site Tinhte.
The speculated camera shown in the leaked snapshots appears to look more like a full-fledged high-end DSLR camera than the speculated company's point-and-shoot Galaxy Camera successor.
The Vietnamese website claimed that the Galaxy NX Camera will come with 20.3-megapixel APS-C lens sensor capable of recording Full HD 1920x1080p videos with ISO sensitivity up to 25,600 units and run on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS. However, the website is unsure whether it would come with dual-core or quad-core processor.
Apart from high-pixel count lens, the device is also expected to come with three separate interchangeable lenses to enrich the photography experience.
Galaxy NX Camera is expected to sport a large 4.3-inch high resolution touch screen that covers almost all of the rear with no physical buttons, however, Tinhte claimed there would be a number of buttons on the lateral and front side of the camera.
Along with Galaxy NX Camera, the South Korean company is reportedly set to showcase the recently unveiled Galaxy S4 variants - compact Galaxy S4 Mini, rugged Galaxy S4 Active and camera centric Galaxy S4 Zoom smartphones as well as a slew of Windows OS based Ativ series tablets, smartphones and PCs at the 'SAMSUNG PREMIERE 2013 GALAXY & ATIV' event in London on 20 June, 2013.
