After weeks of rumours, Samsung finally pulled the wraps of the new Galaxy Tab A (2016) in South Korea on Tuesday.
The new Galaxy Tab A sports a 10.1-inch WUXGA TFT screen and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow backed by Samsung's proprietary Exynos octa-core CPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory, 8MP primary camera with LED flash on the back, a 2MP snapper on the front and a 7,300mAh battery.
It comes with S Pen stylus and supports numerous gesture controls, air command, S Memo, GIF animations with Smart Select, Air Command functions, Magnify, Translate, Samsung Notes, a new unified app allowing users to jot down handwritten notes, draw, or edit memos from one location, similar to Galaxy Note7.

The company has confirmed that the new Galaxy Tab A (2016) will be made available initially in the home market South Korea for 489,000 won (approx. $437/€389/Rs. 29,215).
There is no official word on when Samsung would release the Galaxy Tab A (2016) in other markets. But, going by the previous release patterns, it will be rolled in global regions including India in coming months.
