Consumer electronics giant Samsung launched two mid-range tablets, Galaxy Tab A and Tab E, in India on Thursday, 18 June.
Galaxy Tab A:
Galaxy Tab A is the high-end model. It boasts of 8.0-inch XGA screen and runs on the Android Lollipop OS, backed by 64-bit class Snapdragon 410 series processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and 4200 mAh battery.
Galaxy Tab E:
Galaxy Tab E was unveiled early this week in Taiwan. It features bigger 9.6-inch WXGA display and ships with one generation-old Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 1.3GHz Spreadtrum quad-core CPU, 1.5GB RAM and 5000 mAh battery.
Both Tab A and E series tablets house same 5mp camera on the rear side and a 2mp snapper on the front.

The company has confirmed that Galaxy Tab A will be made available across India via both physical brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce sites for ₹20,500 this month.
On the other hand, the new Galaxy Tab E will be exclusively sold on Flipkart for ₹16,900. It will go on sale by June-end.
