World's smartphone leader Samsung on Monday unveiled the mid-range Galaxy Core smartphone at Seoul, South Korea.
Samsung Galaxy Core sports a 4.3-inch LCD display with 800x480p resolution and it runs on the Android mobile OS v4.1 Jelly Bean powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.
The new smartphone houses 1GB RAM, 8GB memory with options of expanding up to 64GB via microSD card. It also packs a 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash support and a VGA camera on the front.
"Offering innovative mobile solutions to enhance the user experience, the GALAXY Core's smart features provide advanced tools that continue to set the GALAXY series apart. Utilizing human interactions including voice, movement, and optical commands", Samsung said in the statement.
Samsung also mentioned that Galaxy Core will be available in single and dual-SIM variants, with the latter expected to be released this month. The single-SIM version will be released in June next month depending on the market.
