Samsung is expected to add around three Android smartphones to their Galaxy Alpha profile.
Rumoured to be launched in Europe in the coming months, the members of the series are A3, A5 and A7. Currently, Samsung Galaxy Alpha is the lone member available in the series.
The cheapest member of the series is A3 and the costliest member will be A7. The Alpha series handsets will feature premium built quality, with decent hardware capability.
According to the information leaked in a Dutch blog site Galaxy Club, the Galaxy Alpha A7 will concentrate on the mid-range Android handset segment.
Alpha A7 reportedly will boast a 5.5-inch full HD capacitive touchscreen display with 1920x1080 pixels resolution.
In addition, it will be coupled with a 64-bit processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz. We are not sure which specific model of Snapdragon SoC Samsung will pair with this handset but according to the mentioned clock speed, it should be Snapdragon 410 - the SoC featured in the Galaxy Alpha A3 handset.
The phone will also feature the last edition of Android Kitkat 4.4.4. The leaked information also mentions the SM-A700FD will feature Dual SIM slot.
All three new members in the Alpha series will be equipped with a metal body and a 5MP camera on the front for clicking selfies.
The availability of this device has not yet been announced but it is expected to arrive in between INR 27,500-30,500 (450-500 USD).
