World's smartphone leader Samsung has released two new entry-level Android handsets - Galaxy Y Plus and Galaxy Young - for ₹6290 and ₹8290, respectively, in major online stores.

Samsung Galaxy Y Plus sports a 2.8-inch TFT QVGA screen with 320x240p display resolution and runs on Android mobile OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich powered by 850MHz CPU speed processor and backed by a 1200 mAh battery.

On the other hand, Galaxy Young sports a slightly bigger 3.2-inch TFT HVGA screen with 320x240p display resolution and runs on the Android v4.1 Jelly Bean operating system powered by a 1GHz processor.

Both smartphones can be purchased through major Indian online stores Flipkart and Snapdeal. Another e-retailer Infibeam listed these two smartphones as 'coming soon'.
