Top smartphone maker Samsung on Tuesday (28 July) officially announced that the company will hold a launch event next month.
As previously reported, the company has confirmed host the 'Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015' at New York City, Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, 11:00 am PDT (08:30 pm IST) on 13 August.

Like previous Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, the company will live stream the event online.
Samsung Mobile has also posted a cryptic animation clip on Twitter to confirm fans the company is ready with 'the Next Galaxy' device. In the small clip, we see several parallel lines moving horizontally and in the middle, they bulge. It's very hard to decipher what the company is hinting, but if recent reports are to be believed Samsung might unveil the rumoured Galaxy S6 Edge Plus along with Galaxy Note 5.
Expected features of Samsung Galaxy Note 5:
As per recent reports, Galaxy Note 5, internally know as 'Project Noble', is expected to flaunt a 5.67-inch super AMOLED QHD (2560x1440p) display and house the company's proprietary Exynos 7422 SoC (System on Chip) backed by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 4GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage with option for expansion via microSD card slot.
Galaxy Note 5 is also expected to come with new stylus - 'S-Pen', which is said to resemble an actual pen and come with matching phablet colours - gold, white, black and silver.
Expected specifications of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus:
Word on the street is that the 5.67-inch Galaxy S6 Edge Plus aka 'Project Zen', will look like an stretched version of the original Galaxy S6 Edge (5.1-inch) with dual-edge display.
Under the hood, it is said to ship with 32GB inbuilt memory, 16mp camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), 4K video recording ability, a 5mp snapper on the front and a 3000 mAh battery.
