It's been less than a month since Samsung launched Galaxy Tab 3 (7.0-inch variant), and now a new report has emerged that the South Korean technology giant is prepping to launch a bigger 8.0-inch Galaxy Tab 3 model in June.

Samsung community website SamMobile has revealed that the company will launch the 8.0-inch Galaxy Tab 3 in the coming weeks and has also leaked the specifications and images of the speculated device.

SamMobile claims that the new Galaxy Tab will sport an 8.0-inch TFT WXGA screen with HD 1280x800p display resolution and would run on the Android's latest v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by a dual-core processor. Other specifications may include 1.5GB RAM and 16GB memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB through a microSD card.

The snapshot released by the website shows that the new Galaxy Tab variant sports a design similar to that of the recently launched 7.0-inch Galaxy Tab, but with a thinner body.
