Before Samsung could officially announce the Galaxy S6 mini, an e-commerce site has jumped the gun by listing the compact flagship phone, revealing the key features.
A UAE based e-retailer LetsTango accidentally posted Galaxy S6 Mini pre-order page on the website. It even asked prospective buyers to register for the phone by submitting their email IDs. Once word got out in the media, it was immediately pulled down. But by then many technology blogs had taken screen shots of the webpage.
As per the listing, Galaxy S6 mini's design is similar to the original flagship model sans the size. It comes with metal frame but its not sure if the device has full metal-body with glass cover on the back.
Galaxy S6 mini sports 4.6-inch super AMOLED screen and comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS powered by Hexa-core processor. The website does not mention the type of the CPU, but we believe it to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC seen in LG Nexus 5X.
The compact Samsung phone is also said to feature 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory, 15MP camera on the rear-side, 5MP snapper on the front and a Li-Ion non-removable battery, reported GSM Arena.
It also boasts of value-added features such as finger-print sensor, PayPal certification, proprietary wire-less payment feature Samsung Pay, Qi Wireless charging ability, air gesture support, NFC and other standard connectivity features seen in flagship phones.
With the cat out of the bag, it is just a matter of few weeks before Samsung officially unveils Galaxy S6 mini. Stay tuned for more updates.
