Almost every detail of Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6, has been revealed despite the company's efforts to maintain utmost secrecy. Now, price details of its three versions and that of the Galaxy S Edge have been leaked ahead of its launch next month.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 will be unveiled along with the Galaxy S Edge on 1 March, a day ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2015), but the South Korean technology giant is yet to reveal details of the device.
Interestingly, Android Pit has revealed the prices of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S Edge citing reliable sources. According to its report, the 32 GB Samsung Galaxy S6 will be priced at €749 ($849 / ₹52398 approximately); Samsung Galaxy S6 64 GB: €849 ($962 / ₹59394 approximately); Samsung Galaxy S6 128 GB: €949 ($1075 / ₹66390 approximately); Samsung Galaxy S Edge 32 GB: €849 ($962 / ₹59394 approximately); Samsung Galaxy S Edge 64 GB: €949 ($1075 / ₹66390 approximately); and Samsung Galaxy S Edge 128 GB: €1049 ($1189 / ₹73385 approximately).
It was earlier reported that the Galaxy S6 would do away with 32 GB model and start with the 64 GB version. Analysts at MAS also predicted the Galaxy S6 shipment for 2015 at 45 million, and the Galaxy S6 Edge at 10 million, according to Chosun Biz (via GforGames).
The Galaxy S6 is expected come with features like 5.0-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1440 x 2560 pixels (587 ppi pixel density) and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, Exynos 7420 processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 32 GB internal memory and 3 GB RAM with microSD up to 128 GB, and 20 MP main camera and 5 MP front snapper.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S Edge is expected to have a curved body and cost more than the Galaxy S6.
