It has been three months since Samsung began rolling out the new Android 5.0 Lollipop to the 2014 flagship smartphone Galaxy S5. Reports have now surfaced online that its compact sibling S5 Mini will soon get to taste the sweet candy-flavoured Google mobile OS in few months.
Samsung France while replying (via Twitter) to a fan, confirmed that Galaxy S5 Mini will get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in second quarter of 2015.
So far, Samsung has released Android 5.0 Lollipop to Galaxy S5, Note 4, Note 3 and Galaxy S4 in select regions of Europe and East Asia. The company is also slated to rollout the new update to 2-year old model Galaxy Note 2 in coming days.

Google's new mobile OS comes with a completely refurbished design language – 'Material design'- bringing inter-active, user-interface, lots of animation graphics.
Replacement of Dalvik with ART as its default runtime will bring improvement in performance and battery-life enhancements.
