The image of Samsung's camera-centric Galaxy S4 Zoom has appeared online days ahead of the device's official unveiling.
The folks at SamMobile and TechTastic websites have posted images of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.
According to the report, the handset sports 4.3-inch qHD display and is powered by a1.6GHz dual-core processor. The Galaxy S4 Zoom, which is said to be the last device offered in the Galaxy range from the South Korean tech giant Samsung, packs a 16 megapixel camera sensor with optical zoom and supports the connectivity features like Bluetooth 4.0 LE Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and A-GPS. Other rumoured features of the smartphone include 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 64 GB through microSD card and Touch-Wiz Nature UX interface. The handset is expected to run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean platform.
"It essentially looks like a pocket camera with an Android phone on the back," The Verge said about the device.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is expected to be launched at the 'Samsung Premiere 2013 Galaxy & Ativ' event to be hosted by the company in London on 20 June.
The South Korean smartphone maker's Galaxy S4 Active is also likely to see the day light on 20 June. Galaxy S4 Active is expected to have a rugged body case with water-proof and dust-resistant capability and will sport a 5.0-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display. The device will run on Android mobile.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series quad-core processor with Adreno 320 graphics engine.
