With less than two weeks to go before the Galaxy S4 unpacking event on 14 March, a new report has surfaced online that Samsung's new flagship smartphone would pack an Octa-core processor, instead of the Snapdragon 600 chip-set as previously thought.
Earlier, Samsung was rumoured to have dropped its in-house built Exynos Octa-core processor, owing to some heating issues during the product trial. Consequently, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 series processor was pegged to feature in Galaxy S4.
Now, SamMobile citing results of the Antutu benchmark trial of Galaxy S4, has re-confirmed that the new flagship smartphone will sport an Exynos 5410 Octa-core processor with 1.8 GHz clock speed, and also comes packed with PowerVR SGX544MP GPU (Graphics Processing Unit).
