South Korean tech giant Samsung is reportedly readying the smaller version of its lately released Galaxy S4, suggested the new set of leaked images.
Samsung just released the successor of Galaxy S3 and the company is busy making waves across the globe as its new gizmo is getting ready to hit the retail shelves. However, the rumour mills have already stared churning the next stories. Citing Twitter account @ermek as its source, SamMobile has posted a set of leaked images of the phone which show quite similar design to Samsung Galaxy S4.
According to SamMobile, the Galaxy S4 mini which is codenamed as GT-I9190 is likely to debut in June /July this year. The phone apparently comes with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display with a pixel density of 256ppi. It reportedly runs on Android 4.2.2 jelly Bean with Samsung's new TouchWiz interface, Nature UX 2.0. It is said to have come with 1.6GHz dual-core processor and will come in dual-SIM version.
It might be too early to speculate the features of the just rumoured device but Galaxy S4 mini has been in the rumour books. There is no official word about the device yet.
"Unfortunately, if this leak is correct, Samsung is once again downsizing the phone's specs along with its screen size," The Verge reported adding, "If this is real, this means more mid-range buyers can get the design of the S4 - but also that people looking for both a smaller screen and the S4's cutting-edge internals are still out of luck."
The rumours seemed to hold a ring of truth as this is not the first report that talked about the device. Earlier in February, SamMobile reported that Samsung is working on a new device, codenamed 'Serrano', which is similar to Galaxy S4 but lacks the wireless charging dock.
Meanwhile, the list of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 processor for different countries has been splayed out. According to SamMobile, countries like Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Germany and the United Kingdom will get both the variants- Octa-core processor clocked to 1.6GHz and 1.9GHz Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor.
