Samsung Galaxy S4's Indian version will come with Exynos 5 Octa Processor, says a new report.
According to SamMobile which got a glance of the list of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 processor for different countries, the Indian version of the phone will be powered by Exynos 5 Octa Processor.
The successor of Galaxy S3 has been making headlines predominantly for its processor. It comes in two variants - one with an octa-core processor clocked to 1.6GHz and the other with a 1.9GHz quad-core chip. As per the latest list of the processor, most of the European countries will get the phone with 1.9GHz Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor.
Regarding the phone specifications, it sports a 4.99-inch 1920x1080 pixel Super AMOLED display with 441 ppi. The device runs on Android v4.2.2 OS Jelly Bean and supports Wi-Fi, NFC, Dual-video camera function, IR LED,GPS /GLONASS and Bluetooth v4.0.Among its new features are Smart Scroll, Smart Pause, Samsung WatchON and S Voice Drive. Galaxy S4 houses a 13.0-megapixel primary camera and a 2.0-megapixel pixel front-facing camera. It comes in three storage options - 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
Samsung unveiled Galaxy S4 at the Radio City Music Hall, New York City, on 14 March. It weighs a little lighter and thinner than its predecessor Galaxy S3.Conutries like Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Germany and the United Kingdom will get both the variants of the phone, the report cited.
Meanwhile, online retailer Tradus has started accepting the pre-booking orders for Galaxy S4 in India. Although the price is not revealed for the country, it is speculated to fall in the price brackets of 45,000.
"It becomes the first destination to launch pre-booking of S4, effective from March 18, 2013," Tradus announced in a press release.
The phone is also listed as 'coming soon' on the e-retailer Saholic's website which stated, "Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 16GB will be available by 15/05/13", indicating the possibility of its launch in May as speculated earlier.
