Samsung Galaxy S4 Black Edition with Faux Leather Cover Launched in India; Price, Specification Details

Smartphone leader, Samsung has reportedly released the flagship Galaxy S4 Black Edition in India.

The new flagship Galaxy S4 model flaunts the faux leather stitching on the rear-side similar to the one we see in its phablet cousin Galaxy Note 3. The cover gives soft-touch feel as well as provides better grip for the hand. The new phone also comes with dedicated Black themed TouchWiz UI, ringtones and wallpapers.

Beside these couple of enhancements, the new variant packs pretty much same specifications of the 2013 model Galaxy S4. It sports a 5.0-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080p) Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display shield and runs on the latest Android v4.4 KitKat out-of-the box.

The news was disclosed by Mumbai based smartphone vendor, Mahesh Telecom (via Twitter). The new Galaxy S4 Black Edition is said to be priced at ₹29,500.

The South Korean technology conglomerate had originally announced the new Black Editions of Galaxy S4 along with its compact variant S4 Mini in February this year. As of now, there is no word when the mini variant would be made avaialable in India, However, Samsung is all set to release the 2014 marquee smartphone Galaxy S5 on Friday (11 April).
