Samsung Galaxy S3 is the much-anticipated top-end Android phone of the year 2012 for its next generation features and it is up for sales in India too. The HTC One X Android phone, however, is already a hit and has many common features and specs found in the Samsung's flagship phone, with the lesser price tag as well.

Operating System: Both Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X have the much sought after and much preferred OS- Android 4.0- Ice Cream Sandwich.
Processors and Memory: The Galaxy S3 is powered-by the Samsung 1.4 GHz Quad-core Exynos 4212 processor and has 1GB RAM. Meanwhile, HTC One X is also equipped with Quad-core 1.5 GHz coupled with 1GB RAM, as well.
Galaxy S3 comes with three variants, 16/ 32/64 GB of internal storage capacity, which is expandable via MicroSD card upto 32 GB. In contrast, HTC One X has 32 GB of internal storage memory, which is non expandable.
Galaxy S3's 16 GB variant is currently available in India and we could expect the 32 GB in the coming days. However, 64 GB is very unlikely to be available here.

HTC phone has 4.7-inch Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen and Corning Gorilla Glass.
Camera: The Galaxy S3 features 8-megapixel with 3264x2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash, HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and image stabilization features to mix. The handset also packs 1.9-megapixels front facing camera, for video calling.
Similarly, HCT One X also boasts an eight megapixel rear camera with LED flash, auto-focus and the camera is capable of capturing video in 1080p. The smartphone also has a secondary camera of 1.3 megapixels which can record video in 720p.
Battery: The Galaxy S3 has a powerful Li-Ion 2050mAh battery and promises longer battery life. Whereas the HTC One X has an 1800mAh battery and assures over eight hours of talk time.
