World smartphone leader, Samsung has reportedly launched a new variant of Galaxy S3 Mini with a suffix "Value Edition" in Netherlands.
The new handset, Galaxy S3 Mini Value Edition looks strikingly similar to 2012 model in terms of outlook as well as internal hardware, sans a little faster CPU and a new OS version. It is said to be the international variant of AT&T and Verizon models launched recently in USA, reported SamMobile.
Samsung phone sports a 4.0-inch WVGA screen with 480x800p resolutions and ships with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory with options of expansion via microSD card. It also houses 5.0-megapixel main camera, a VGA (0.3-megapixel) camera on the front for video chat and 1500 mAh battery.
As of now, Galaxy S3 Mini Value Edition has been already released in Netherlands for €180 (around ₹15,300 in Indian denomination). However, there is no word on details whether the new Samsung phone is region specific or it may be launched in other markets as such.
