World smartphone leader Samsung has reportedly rolled out the Android OS v4.2.2 update to the Galaxy S2 Plus smartphone in Germany.
Samsung community blog, 'All About Samsung', has reported that Galaxy S2 Plus (GT-19105P) smartphones have received the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS update. The firmware bearing build number 19105PXXUBMG8 can be download to the computer via PC suite 'Kies' and then installed on the smartphone.
The new update is said to improve the 2011-model Galaxy S2 Plus's performance and bring enhancements to Touch Wiz interface, new download notifications, new gallery app animations, Daydream screensaver mode, lock screen widgets and many more features.

Apart from Germany, there are no confirmed reports of the Jelly Bean update getting released to Galaxy S2 Plus smartphones users in other European countries and Asian markets.
According to various reports, Samsung is rumoured to soon roll-out the new Android v4.3 OS firmware to the company flagship models - Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2. Galaxy S2 Plus' predecessor Galaxy S2 would no longer receive the Android OS updates in the future. The original Galaxy S2 was last upgraded to v4.1.2 mobile OS in January 2013.
