World smartphone leader Samsung launched mid-range handset Galaxy Grand Prime in India on Tuesday.
The new Galaxy Grand Prime sports a 5.0 inch qHD (960x540p) TFT screen and comes packed with Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB) and 2600 mAh battery.
On the camera front, it boasts a 5.0 megapixel front camera with wide-angle (85-degree) lens. It seems like Galaxy Grand Prime is specifically targeted to attract selfie enthusiasts. This feature-rich camera is expected to be supported by value-added apps to enhance photography experience. It will also house an 8.0 megapixel camera on the back.

Priced just under ₹15,500, the new Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime will be up against the recently launched Micromax Canvas 4 Plus, Canvas Nitro, Motorola Moto G (Gen 2), Sony Xperia E3, Asus Zenfone 5, HTC Desire 616 and the Desire 820 (expected to be released next month).
