South Korean technology giant Samsung is reportedly prepping to launch its next entry-level smartphone, Galaxy Pocket Neo, before the second week of May.
According to a report published by SamMobile, Samsung's next smartphone will come in two variants - Single SIM model and Duos model. It was also said that the upcoming smartphone is likely to come in a silver variant. The single SIM model of the phone is codenamed GT-S5310 while the Duos carries GT-S5312 as its codename.
"Samsung is soon going to announce a new kind of low-range Galaxy product. The Galaxy Pocket Neo comes in 2 versions with and without dual sim option,"SamMobile reported.
The Galaxy Pocket Neo is Samsung's fourth affordable smartphone this year after Galaxy Young, Galaxy Fame and Galaxy Star. The phone is rumoured to come with a 3.0-inch screen with QVGA resolution and support Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and A-GPS. The smartphone is also stipulated to arrive with a 2-megapixel rear camera and measure 104.95 X 57.8 X11.8mm in dimensions.
The report did not delve into the power features and pricing of the phone.
