The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was a big hit when it was released last year, helping the company bounce back after its profit margin fell in the Q3 2014, but its successor, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be even better device with much superior feature.
The South Korean electronics giant has not revealed anything about its upcoming flagship device, the Galaxy Note 5, including its release date but several reports suggested that it would be unveiled in September, coinciding Galaxy Note 4's one-year run.
Not much is known about the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 but going by reports that have surfaced so far, it is expected to have several feature upgrades over its predecessor.
The next-generation device is expected to sport a 5.9-inch display with 4K screen display and Ultra HD screen resolution, powered by an Exynos 7420 chip, come packed with 16GB to 128GB internal memory with microSD card up to 128GB, and house an 18MP camera with powerful sensor and perhaps 6 or 7MP front snapper, according to a report by 4K website, contradicting earlier report that the device would have Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with at least 4 GB RAM.
According to an illustration created by designer Maryum Ayub, which was reported by Concept Phone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 boasts of features like 5.9 inch 4K Super AMOLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass 5, Exynos 3.2 GHz octa core processor, Android 6.0 OS, 19 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a secondary 4.7 MP front snapper, and 32/64 GB internal memory and 4 GB RAM, all metal body, and curved body.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1440 x 2560 pixels (515 ppi pixel density) and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 / Exynos 5433 processor and run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat (upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop to be made available). It also comes packed with 32 GB internal memory and 3 GB RAM with microSD up to 128 GB, 16 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) feature and 3.7 MP front camera, and Li-Ion 3220 mAh battery.
