More details of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 have been leaked with its release date drawing close and almost confirmed. Several leaked specifications are contradictory to each other, nevertheless it is almost certain that the upcoming device will have much superior features expected over its predecessor, Galaxy Note 4.
Samsung is yet to announce the release date of its upcoming device officially, but it is very likely to be unveiled at its "Unpacked 2015" event to be held on 13 August. The company has the tradition of announcing its Note devices at the annual IFA event, and the same was expected for Galaxy Note 5 too, but it's not going to be the case this time around.
The South Korean electronics giant is tight-lipped on its upcoming device, but several details have been leaked, hinting that it will have much superior features over its predecessor, Galaxy Note 4.
According to latest information provided by Evan Blass (@evleaks), Galaxy Note 5 will sport a 5.66-inch display with 560x1440 pixels, powered by Exynos 7420 SoC processor clocking at 4x2.1GHz+4x1.5GHz, run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, come packed with 32GB internal memory and 4GB RAM, house a 16 MP main camera, 5 MP front snapper, and no microSD card.

It was earlier reported by SamMobile that Galaxy Note 5 will come with features like a 5.67-inch Super AMOLED display with 2,560x1,440 pixels, come in four colours - black, gold, silver, and white – and have a glass back. It was also reported that the device will sport a 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, powered by a Exynos 7422 processor, come packed with a 16GB internal storage and 4GB RAM, house a 16 MP main camera, 8 MP front snapper, and 4100 mAh battery. It is also reported that the device will come with an ejectable S-Pen, but may do away with removable battery and microSD card slot.
On the other hand, Galaxy Note 4 sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1440 x 2560 pixels (515 ppi pixel density), screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 / Exynos 5433 processor, and run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat upgradable to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. It also comes packed with 32GB internal memory, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, 3GB RAM, 16 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, 3.7 MP front snapper, and 3220 mAh battery.
