With the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 4 unveiling on 3 September before releasing it to the market a few days later, more specification of the flagship device has been leaked. Now, latest report has claimed that the device will have a few features seen in Galaxy S5.
It was earlier reported that Samsung might introduce iris scanner technology in the upcoming Galaxy Note 4 but there is no further information on the same. However, Sammobile has reported citing a source that the new phablet will "sport Synaptics' Natural ID solution, just like the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Alpha."
The website went on to say that "four fingerprint features - Screen Lock, Private Mode with fingerprint authentication, Samsung Account Verification and PayPal Payments – that are seen in Samsung's flagship smartphone Galaxy S5 will be featured in the Galaxy Note 4 too. It added that Fingerprint Shortcuts will be seen in the new device, allowing users to "assign applications or specific functions as shortcuts to each registered fingerprint."
Samsung Electronics may also introduce an Ultrasonic Cover in Galaxy Note 4, which will come as huge help to users with vision-related disabilities, reported Sammobile. The ultrasonic sensor can come handy for people with vision problem, as it can detect nearby objects.
The South Korean electronics giant has announced that it will hold its Unpacked event simultaneously in Berlin, Beijing and New York City on 3 September but didn't reveal the release date. However, the company is expected to launch the device into the market on 15 September.
It was earlier reported that Galaxy Note 4 will come in 16/32/64GB variants with 3GB RAM as seen in Note 3 but Indonesian retailer, Erafone recently revealed (snapshot obtained by Droid Life) that it will have 4GB RAM with microSD up to 128GB before pulling it down later. The listing claimed that the new device will sport a 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 (515 ppi pixels density) Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, powered by a 2.5-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, and run on Android 4.4.3 KitKat OS.
According to AnTuTu benchmark listings, Samsung may launch two models of Galaxy Note 4, one to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, and the other with Exynos 5433 8 Core processor. One of the models will come with a curved OLED display and the other with a flat OLED display, reported the Korea Times. The device may come with either a 16MP camera or a 12MP but with OIS feature. The S-Pen Stylus in Note 4 may have updated gestures and air command, and a patent application of Samsung obtained by Galaxy Club claimed that it will be powered by ultrasound technology.
