Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Shipments to Begin by 8 September: Report

Taking note of numerous reports in the past few weeks, there is growing anticipation for the launch of Galaxy Note 3 at Samsung's 4 September Berlin event. Now, a new report has surfaced online that the South Korean company will be shipping its flagship phablet into the markets within days of the unveiling.

Samsung community website, SamMobile, citing its sources has reported that the company is likely to begin shipping its flagship third-generation Galaxy Note 3 Phablet between 2-8 September to major markets. Since the launch is expected to take on 4 September, Samsung is expected to release it by 8 September. However, the blog failed to mention the specific regions which would receive the shipments.

The website also mentioned that Samsung's flagship wearable device, Galaxy Gear, which is also said to debut alongside Galaxy Note 3 on 4 September is expected to hit markets between 30 September- 6 October, with chances of getting delayed by a week or two.  

Considering the past track records of SamMobile's reports on Samsung-related devices and their launch dates, we can safely assume that the latest scoop from this website may come true as well.

According to reports, Galaxy Note 3 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch super AMOLED full HD display and run on the latest Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS with 3GB RAM.

Rumours are rife that Samsung has decided to drop the 16GB variant owing to negative publicity it received during the Galaxy S4 launch. Many tech critics and buyers alike had panned the company for the low user memory of Galaxy S4's 16GB variant. It had less than 8.5GB end-user memory as the device's software ate up more half the total storage space.

On the other hand, Samsung's first wearable device, Galaxy Gear, is speculated to boast of a calling feature and internet browsing. Users can also check text messages and email.
