South Korean tech giant Samsung has finally revealed the launch date of its next-generation Galaxy Note 3 after weeks of speculation, and as reported by a few sections of the media, it will be launched at a special event - Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 - on 4 September and live streaming will be made available to the public.
"Samsung #UNPACKED 2013 Episode 2. Note the date," tweeted Samsung Mobile Twitter handle. It also tweeted a photo that says "Note the date 04.09.2013. Berlin" and mentioned that the event will be live streamed on Samsung Mobile YouTube channel.
Samsung didn't specifically mention that they will launch Galaxy Note 3 at the event but it is obvious from their press invitation that they are talking about the next-generation Galaxy Note 3 as the highlighted word "Note" in the invitation suggested.
The launch event will take place two days before the IFA trade show in Berlin.
It may be recalled that Techkiddy had earlier reported that Samsung would launch its much-hyped Galaxy Note 3 along with the much-rumoured SmartWatch on 4 September.
"According to Korea Media which has a good accuracy record confirms the release date of Note III and Samsung Gear. Both the devices will be released on September 4 Night in Berlin just two days before IFA2013," reported Techkiddy.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch display, Android 4.3 Jelly bean operating system and powered by Snapdragon 800 Chipset with support for LTE-A. Other stipulated features include a super AMOLED screen with full HD resolutions, 3GB RAM and a 13.0-megapixel camera with Xenon flash.
Indian logistics website Zauba has recently reported that the phablet could come in three different screen sizes of 5.5-inch, 5.7-inch and 6-inch. It also said that Samsung has shipped eight different models of Galaxy Note 3 to India for testing.
